workspace backup is a personal tool. It stores encrypted backups of the owner's own self-hosted services in the owner's own Google Drive, using rclone and restic. It is used only by its owner and is not offered to anyone else.

Privacy policy

• The app requests only the Google Drive scope drive.file. It can read and write only the files that it created itself, not other files in the Drive.
• Backups are encrypted on the owner's machines before they are uploaded. Google Drive holds only encrypted data.
• The OAuth tokens are kept in the owner's own secret store and are used only to read and write those backup files.
• No data is shared with, sold to, or sent to any third party. The app has no analytics or tracking.
• Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account, under Security, Third-party apps with account access.
